Today, on the 8th of December the representatives of Logistics Alliance Germany (LAG) – a Public Private Partnership between the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and the German Logistics Industry – arrived with a visit to Klaipeda. The President of Association of Lithuanian Stevedoring Companies Šaidotas Sileika and the Chief Operation Officer Harold Kovs received the guests.
The delegation was head by Mr. Peter Lüttjohann Head of Division Freight Transport and Logistics at the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure.
During this meeting the possible modes of cooperation between Lithuanian and German associations and companies in terms of logistics were evaluated, the participants shared their position and opinions regarding these essential issues.
Unanimously it was agreed to develop the mutual understanding of each other’s economic strengths and competences and to establish mutual contacts for future common activities.
